Valentine's day

For Valentines day I made the kids some heart shaped pancakes with bacon and hot chocolate. I know growing up I always enjoyed a special breakfast from my Mom. Hali said that it was too pretty to eat. It took her a while to eat it but she just "oowed" and "ahhed" every bite she took. Colby just gobbled it up and had seconds and I think Liam was still sleeping. We exhanged gifts after dad woke up.

Later that night we went out with the Bell's to dinner then after lazer tag. Lazer tag was actually Aaron's and our first Activity we ever did together. At BYU I there is something called an Extravaganza where kids get together for lots of fun activiteis to kick off scholl. We did not even know eachother, just one mutual friend that we had both met that night (Kat). I thought he was pretty cute but could tell Kat was pretty into him. Although I ended up waiting in line the whole time with him and gettting chased by him during the games.

Great lighting and interesting sign, we couldn't help but laguh about it.

Camping with the Griggs

Right before the new year we went on a trip up to Washington to go camping in a few family size cabins with the Girggs. We also invited the Bells to go with us. We just took a weekend to do it but it was just the right amount of time. The first night on the 27th we celebrated Colby's 4th Birthday with a few presents, cake and ice cream. The next day was our 8th Anniversary. We spent the day sledding taking naps and eating yummy food. The next day we ate breakfast and want back home.

Colby's 4th Birthday Party!

COLBY'S 4th Birthday Party

Colby had an Avengers themed PARTY!! We had so much fun putting it all together for him.

This was his 1st Birthday party he was pretty excited about so we invited all his friends and had a blast.

Colby is an amazing little Boy. He is ale to learn anything you teach him pretty quick. He loves the alphabet and counting. He is starting to read words and do some easy math by himself. He loves playing Lego Star Wars, Dance 4 and doing "Parkour"This is where he does cartwheels, one handed ones too, almost hand stands and jumping off the couches into a summer salt. We love this very active boy!
