Thanksgiving in Fairfield

We left on Saturday morning to Fairfield. I asked Aaron what fun things we should do while visiting family, he didn't think of anything. I thought when, pulling up, we should go see the New Breaking Dawn Movie - Nah most likely they have already seen it, two teenagers and Shawnna. I still wanted to at least go in to town. I really like going to Great Falls for some reason, it is just fun. When we got there the Oblander and Lhenerz Family were waiting for us with Christmas presents!!( The cute pj's the kids are wearing in the picture. Love them Thanks again!!)We relaxed for a bit then Shawnna asked if I had seen the new Breaking Dawn movie. I was gearing up for her to tell me how great it was. But when I said no I have not seen it she said, " I think we should take a little trip then to go see it." I was about to jump out of my chair actually I might have. Really what a coincidence. I was so surprised that they had not seen it and that she mentioned going because I probably never would have brought it up. I am not a die heart fan of the series but it is a fun girl thing to do. It worked out just right. The girls and Denton went to town and watch Breaking Dawn and grabbed ice cream and soda for dessert. The boys stayed home and took care of the kids. I love going out with my sister-in-laws they are so much fun and remind me of my own sisters at times. That night we tried out the Xbox kinect for the first time and I really liked it especially the dance one. We got some great black mail footage of my sister-in-laws too :)

On Sunday we went to church. Colby enjoyed sitting on Grandpa's lap drawing letters and picture. I am amazed at how Grandpa and Aaron are able to keep Colby so still and on task. I have the hardest time keeping Colby still. Hali sat up with grandma quietly drawing pictures. I really just sat and got to listen to the talks, awww so nice. We met up with some old friends of Aaron's and saw Grandma Verda at church too.

When we got back to the farm we ate a delicious prime rib roast with mashed potatoes and corn. I loved it so much I made it for my New Years dinner !! The rest of Sunday we just hung out and took naps. Oh yes and had lots and lots of desserts!! Hali and Colby loved being With Lexi and Jordyn they were thoroughly entertained ost of the night.

Monday Grandpa took us all around the farm in his truck, the kids loved it. Actually I loved it too, It was nice to just see how pretty it is up there and admire all the little things Heavenly Father has given us to make the world so beautiful. After our little nature tour we took some lunch to go and were back in Idaho later that night. The trip back home was much better, Hali only threw up twice! Colby on the way home though said "where is grandpa. I want him to come with us.... I miss him!" I miss them all too, it is so nice to see and be with our families. They truly are one of the most important parts of our lives if you really think about it.

Thanksgiving in Missoula

My parents and Chris came to stay at the house on their way up to Thanksgiving in Missoula with my mom's side of the family. It was the first time that they had seen the new place and Liam.

The kids had so much fun having them here at the house. Hali said she wishes they could live here forever, like we did in California.

I took my parents around town and some surrounding cities to show them where we lived. They loved that the YMCA was so close to us as well as some major stores. Did I mention my parents may be moving up this way with in the year?? Well I think they are going to love what Idaho has, I know I do.

The Wruck family also came up and spent a night at our house on their way up to Montana as well. Hali was in Heaven. Anytime there are a lot of people coming over to vist she thinks it is a party. Hali makes assignments and directs people as to what to do, "We will need: decorations, food party hats... It is going to be the best day ever!"

I was not looking forward to the long drive up to Missoula. It was horrible. The roads were clear luckily but they are so windy. Hali threw up 7 times, Liam was not happy and I even felt sick. On top of that we hit a deer that took us an hour and a half of schedule. The good thing was we were all okay. The car got hit pretty hard which was amazing because it only felt to me like we popped a tire. Aaron was able to get replacement parts for the van and fix most of the car by himself and I got new car seats for the kids. I love having full coverage.

When we got to Goldie's beautiful home there was lots of snow on the ground. I was so excited to be able to take the kids sledding the next day on Thanksgiving.Aunt Goldie had some presents fo the kids that they just had to open before they went out to the snow. Lizzy and Hali got these adorable pink hat, gloves and socks. Colby Liam and JT got awesome camo snow boots. Colby was super excited to go play in the snow. He slipped on the ice and cut his nose up a bit. Colby was either too cold or having too much fun to even care about it though. They all had a blast. Aunty Eva and uncle Dave had most of the "fun/work" with them and got lots of great picture of the cousins.
I love making Thanksgiving Dinner with my family there is just something about cooking, laughing and working together that makes me love the life that I have. Grandma and Karen Indreland's family came over for Dinner. It was so great to see them again and to catch up on their lives.Thanksgiving dinner was soooo good and so were the truffles, pies, ice cream and wasill (Thanks John).

That night we opened up presents from Mom and Dad and watched a movie with the kids. The boys went out for Black Friday and all got some great presents for their family Christmas's. The next morning The Cheney's, The Bells and Goldie went to Crackle Barell for a yummy breakfast because our power went out and well it sounded really good too. The rest of the Day we got to hang out with family and enjoy being with them. Mary Inderland's Family came over to hang out at

Lunch time. We ate more yummy food and desserts, watched movies and did some shopping. I love being at Goldie's place. The Next morning bright and early we left to Fairlfield to see Aaron's family.

Halloween 2011

So I am way behind... Here is Halloween.

Hali really wanted to be a bat girl but I already had a fairy costume for her. She was so funny about it. Anytime someone would ask her "What are you going to be for Halloween she would explain to them that she want ed to be a dark scary bat but that Mom wanted her to be a fairy. I thought she would give in eventually. So we came to an agreement that she could have dark scary bat eyes and she could be a bat fairy. Hali was okay with that and loved putting on the makeup and doing her hair.

Colby was easy going. He liked being a dog but did not want to put the face paint on it was too messy for him. I convinced him he could be a pirate dog and could say Grrrrr Matey's once ha had a patch on his eye. Colby loved that idea.

Liam was such a cute little pumpkin. It was a bit cold out during trunk or treat but he was stilll happy go lucky.

I love my sweet kids.
